Asherah... Mystery Babylon!
Let me ask you a question. Who is the woman that rides the beast in Revelation 17 and 18? Most would say it’s a religious system that runs counter to the true faith of YHWH and I would certainly agree with those sentiments. Then most would go on to say specifically the woman that rides the beast in Revelation 17 and 18 is none other than The Roman Catholic Church. Is that correct? Is The Roman Catholic Church the woman that rides the beast? I don’t think so… read on and see why!
Ok, here’s another question. Who is the ‘daughter of Babel’, the ‘daughter of the Chaldeans’ spoken of in Isaiah 47:1? Who ever she is she seems to be the very same woman spoken of in Revelation 17 and 18! BABEL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Let me show you some parallels in these two sections of Scripture.
Compare Isaiah’s ‘Mistress of Reigns’ to Revelation’s ‘I sit as sovereigness’.
Isa 47:5 “Sit silent, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For no more do they call you Mistress of Reigns.
Rev 18:7 “As much as she esteemed herself and lived riotously, so much torture and grief give to her, because in her heart she says, ‘I sit as sovereigness, and I am not a widow, and I do not see mourning at all.’
It is interesting to note that Asherah was known as ‘the consort of YHWH’ the Queen of Heaven!

Compare Isaiah’s ‘daughter of Babel’ to Revelation’s ‘Babel the Great’
Isa 47:1 “Come down and sit in the dust, O maiden daughter of Babel. Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For no more do they call you tender and delicate.
Rev 17:5 and upon her forehead a name written, a secret: BABEL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
It is interesting to note that Asherah is a ‘Babylonian goddess’.

Compare Isaiah’s I do not sit as a widow, nor do I know the loss of children to Revelation’s I sit as sovereigness, and I am not a widow, and I do not see mourning at all.
Isa 47:8 “And now, hear this, you who are given to pleasures, who dwells complacently, who says in your heart, ‘I am, and there is none but me. I do not sit as a widow, nor do I know the loss of children.’

It is interesting to note that Asherah is known as the female consort of YHWH and the mother goddess who has given birth to every god that has ever existed, these gods are her children. Every religion that has ever existed has had one of these gods as their god, i.e. the entire religious system of the world. That includes Judaism, Roman Catholicism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and all the others. They are all the daughters of the whore that rides the beast, i.e. Asherah! But why is she a widow? Because not only is she the mother of these false gods but she is also the wife of these false gods. Just as Semiramis was the mother and wife of Nimrod. When her children are destroyed she becomes a widow!

Compare Isaiah’s many witchcrafts and your numerous great potent spells to Revelation’s your drug sorcery.
Isa 47:9 “Both of these come to you suddenly, in one day: the loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in completeness, because of your many witchcrafts, for your numerous great potent spells.
Rev 18:23 “And the light of a lamp shall not shine in you any more at all. And the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you any more at all. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, for by your drug sorcery all the nations were led astray."
It is interesting to note that Asherah was worshipped by the Israelites because they believed she had blessed them with provision. The Israelites turned their back to YHWH their true provider and worshipped Asherah.

Compare Isaiah’s But evil shall come upon you, you not knowing from where it arises to Revelation’s these shall hate the whore, and lay her waste and naked, and eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
Isa 47:11 “But evil shall come upon you, you not knowing from where it arises, and trouble fall upon you, you being unable to put it off, and ruin come upon you suddenly, which you know not.
Rev 17:16 “And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these shall hate the whore, and lay her waste and naked, and eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
It is interesting to note that when YHWH has fought for Israel He confuses the enemy so thoroughly that the enemy turns upon itself.

Compare Isaiah’s fire shall burn them to Revelation’s she shall be burned up with fire.
Isa 47:14 “See, they shall be as stubble, fire shall burn them, they do not deliver themselves from the power of the flame, there is not a coal to be warmed by, nor a fire to sit before it!
Rev 18:8 “Because of this her plagues shall come in one day: death and mourning and scarcity of food. And she shall be burned up with fire, because יהוה Elohim who judges her is mighty.
It is interesting to note that Asherah and her followers are judged with fire.

Compare Isaiah’s your merchants from your youth to Revelation’s the merchants of the earth.
Isa 47:15 “So they shall be to you with whom you have laboured, your merchants from your youth. They shall wander, each one his own way, there is none to save you.
Rev 18:11 “And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their merchandise any more.
It is interesting to note Asherah’s connection with merchants.

Contrast Isaiah’s Come down and sit in the dust to Revelation’s a great millstone and threw it into the sea.
Isa 47:1 “Come down and sit in the dust, O maiden daughter of Babel. Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For no more do they call you tender and delicate.
Rev 18:21 And one mighty messenger picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “With such a rush the great city Babel shall be thrown down, and shall not be found any more at all.
It is interesting to note YHWH’s command in Isaiah 47:1 to ‘come down and sit in the dust’ as Asherah was also known as ‘Queen of the Sea’. Contrasting that with Revelation 18:21 makes perfect sense that a great millstone should be thrown into the sea taking Asherah to her judgment in her very own kingdom.

It is abundantly obvious to me that ‘the whore who rides the beast of Revelation’ is an entity greater than the Roman Catholic Church. She is Asherah, the maiden daughter of Babel, the daughter of the Chaldeans. She is the goddess of sex and fertility, BABEL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
She was known as the female consort of YHWH by the Israelites, the Queen of Heaven. In Kabbalah Asherah is known as Shekhina, the Sabbath Queen and Shabbat HaMalkah. In the days of Jeremiah the wives burned incense to worship her, today she is venerated every Shabbat by the wives/women through the Sabbath Candle lighting ceremony as Shekhina, The Sabbath Queen and Shabbat HaMalkah.
There are other activities that take place in Jewish homes to pay homage to Asherah such as the husband and wife coming together for sexual relations at the midnight hour, the same hour it was believed that YHWH and His consort Asherah came together.
We can reinvent the Sabbath Candle lighting ceremony and make it anything we want it to be but we don’t let the Christians get away with that when it comes to Christmas and they say, “That’s not what it means to me!” We condemn keeping Christmas and Easter because we know their origins.
It’s time for us to continue our walk toward the truth. I think I’ve said enough, clearly this is an abomination in the face of YHWH. Let us therefore repent of the Sabbath Candle lighting tradition and worship Him and Him alone in Spirit and Truth as He demands to be worshipped!
Let me quote one more Scripture for emphasis.
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”
