THE MASTER’S CLOCK!

Discerning The True 7th Day Sabbath of Yeshua!

PART 5

Three Categories

Of

Monthly Days!

Is there more that we can glean from Scripture to help us put together a working model of THE MASTER’S CLOCK?  Yes, without a doubt there is!  A doorway to understanding the makeup of a Month in THE MASTER’S CLOCK is opened before us as we approach the Eastern Gate of the Temple during the Millennial Reign.  Ezekiel 46:1 gives us important, confirming information for developing an understanding of what the Month of YHWH looks like.

‘Thus said the Master YHWH, The gate of the inner courtyard facing east is shut the six days of work, but on the Sabbath it is opened, and on the day of the New Moon it is opened.” (Ezekiel 46:1 Scriptures ’98)

In Ezekiel 46:1 we’re given information from which we can make inferences, this verse becomes a huge piece of the puzzle in trying to reconstruct THE MASTER’S CLOCK.  We’re told…

“The gate of the inner courtyard facing east is shut the six days of work, but on the Sabbath it is opened, and on the day of the New Moon it is opened.”

If the gate of the inner courtyard facing east is shut the six days of work, but on the Sabbath it is opened, and on the day of the New Moon it is opened then we can infer that neither the Sabbath nor the New Moon can ever fall on one of the six workdays when the gate would be shut!  In today’s RCC Gregorian Calendar the New Moon falls on the six workdays more often than not!  Therefore we must admit to there being 3 distinct classifications for days of the Scriptural Month, something the Gregorian calendar knows nothing of!

  • New Moon Day

  • Six Work Days

  • Sabbath Day

We can see this same theme in 1 Kings 4 when the Shunammite woman sought Elisha to restore her dead son.  Her husband says,

“Why are you going to him today?  It is neither the New Moon nor the Sabbath.” (2 Kings 4:23 Scriptures ’98)

Although this verse is not as strong as is Ezekiel 46:1, in that it forces us to admit 3 classifications of monthly days as does Ezekiel 46:1, it still notes 3 classifications of monthly days.  In the context of the verse above we see the son ran to his father reaping in the field, it was obviously a workday, and the husband then questions his wife as to why she would travel to Elisha since that day was neither a Sabbath nor a New Moon Day which would have been worship days when the prophet Elisha would have been available.

  • New Moon Day

  • Six Work Days

  • Sabbath Day

Once again, we can see this same theme in the Book of Amos where we read…

Hear this, you who are swallowing up the needy, to do away with the poor of the land, saying, “When does the New Moon pass so that we sell grain, and the Sabbath so that we trade our wheat, to make the ephah small and the sheqel large, and to falsify the scales by deceit, to buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the chaff of the wheat?” (Amos 8:4-6 Scriptures ’98)

Here again we see the days when one can buy and sell (workdays) juxtaposed against the New Moon Day and Sabbath Day when no buying and selling can be done.

  • New Moon Day

  • Six Work Days

  • Sabbath Day

Another clear example of Scripture proclaiming 3 categories of monthly days is recorded for us in Isaiah 66…

“And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares YWHW. (Isaiah 66:22-23 Scriptures ’98)

In this passage New Moon and Sabbath are defined as days of worship when we are to come before YHWH and lift Him up in praise and honor, as opposed to the 6 workdays when we are to labor.  By the way, it says, “all flesh”, this is a Universal Restoration passage proclaiming the salvation of ALL MANKIND!

  • New Moon Day

  • Six Work Days

  • Sabbath Day

If we are paying attention we should already begin to see a pattern emerging that outlines a Scriptural Month.  The Month begins with New Moon Day which is always the 1st Day of the Month but NEVER a work day or Sabbath, the first six day work period then takes place followed by the weekly Sabbath.  This weekly cycle of workdays and Sabbath is repeated 4 times every month. Therefore the Sabbaths always fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.  Just as an ‘Oh, by the way!’ every Sabbath in Scripture that can be associated with a specific date of the Month always, without fail, fall on either the 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th!

This has been Part 5 of the 17 Part series titled THE MASTER'S CLOCK! It is my sincere hope and prayer that in reading this series you'll be blessed with the revelation of Time According to the Author of Time! May your eyes be opened to The Creator's Cosmological Calendar!
